Our Founder, Angie CJ Sims

Angie is an expert rainmaker and key influencer whose ability to elevate women makes her a game changer. She spent over 14 years as a business leader in the financial services industry at Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms in various roles including Deputy Director of Diversity, Director of Online Training and Director of Professional Alliance Relationships. 

She and her family relocated to Georgia nine years ago, and since that time has come to be known as a center of influence and in-demand executive coach. Angie uses her superior expertise to help professional women reach their greatest potential by discovering and implementing focused-driven success tools. 

A five-time self-published author Angie is most proud of the 17 women that she coached to become first-time published authors. In 2016 she answered the assignment to create an organization that connects business women at their souls. The League of Girlfriends now has nearly 600 members nationally because every woman needs a Girlfriends. 

She created the Girl Led NOW Leadership Academy to change the trajectory of the way women enhance their businesses and grow profits. Her goal continues to be to teach women “How to Fish!” She is perfectly positioned to elevate her clients through her one-on-one coaching or by providing stellar education on emotional intelligence, execution of profitable events, elevation of business positioning through sponsorships and how collaborations can impact your bottom line and more. 

Angie is President of Atlanta Women’s Network, Georgia’s first networking organization for professional women. She is also an active networker and active member of the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, Kennesaw Business Association and the Cobb County Diversity Committee. She was also as a founding partner of the first Global Black Women's Chamber of Commerce, founded by US Ambassador Suzan Johnson Cook.  

She spends her free time serving organizations in need and planning special events through her 25-year-old special event management and floral design company, Angela’s Exquisite Events. Angie lives in Dallas, GA with her husband of 16 years and their 14-year-old son Christian aka Smooch.
